“Improvement of access to services for all women and girls - victims of domestic violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina”
On November 13th,2017, Foundation of Local Democracy Sarajevo started with implementation of the Project “Improvement of access to services for all women and girls - victims of domestic violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. Project partner on implementation of activities in Republika Srpska is “Budućnost” Modriča. The whole project will be implemented in the partnership with the members of the Safe Network.The Project was financially supported by UN Women in BiH, and within the framework of the regional project "Implementation of norms, changing attitudes" funded by the European Union.
Project duration is 26 months.
Foundation United Women and the Center for Legal Assistance to Women Zenica have done analysis of monitoring criminal and misdemeanor procedures in the field of protection from gender-based violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Results of the competition
Commission composed of: Azra Hasanbegović, Žena BiH; Erna Saljević, Via Media and Amra Hadžić, the Foundation of Local Democracy, on 21 February 2017, in the premises of the Foundation of Local Democracy, Radićeva 11, Sarajevo, starting at 10:00 am made a decision on the results of the comptetition.

A two-day meeting on the topic of protection in the municipalities of the Doboj region
As a result of the work on improving the work of the referral mechanisms in the Doboj region, the member of the SC of the Safe Network Budućnost Modriča organized on December 29 and 30, 2016 in Teslić a two-day meeting on the topic of protection in the municipalities of the Doboj region entitled "Situation Analysis and Possibilities for Improved Cooperation" within the marking of 16 days of activism. The participants were representatives of Centres for Social Work, Centres for Mental Health, Health institutions, decision makers from Modriča, Šamac and Vukosava, as well as representatives of the media.

The Foundation of Local Democracy organized a two-day workshop in Sarajevo for the associated members of the Safe Network on December 12 and 13, 2016, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of associated members of the Safe Network in advocacy activities and the design of a joint public campaign. The training was attended by 12 representatives of SN members.

During the celebration of the global campaign "16 days of activism against gender-based violence", the Lara Foundation, as a member of the Safe Network, organized a two-day workshop for representatives of centres for social work from the area covered by the Safe House in Bijeljina and the press conference for the local media.

On 4th November 2016, a joint meeting of representatives of the Agency for Gender Equality of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Steering Board of the Safe Network was held.
