Training for new members of the Safe Network

13th and 14th May of 2013 in Sarajevo, Hotel Bosnia, held two training sessions for twelve (12) new members of the Safe Network.

 The trainings were aimed at the new members of the Safe Network to reinforce their capacities using the knowledge and experience of permanent members of the Safe Network, eight non-governmental organizations with extensive experience in the fight against gender-based violence. These practices, in addition to being of educational character, were an opportunity to get to know each other and start joint cooperation in the implementation of activities of the Safe Network.

 

The first training of Working Group I on the topic "Prevention" was held on May 13th 2013. This training was conducted by the permanent members of the Secretariat of the Safe Network: Women from Una from Bihać and Woman B&H Mostar.

 

The second training of Working Group II on the topic "Protection and rehabilitation" was held on May 14th 2013. This training was conducted by the permanent members of the Secretariat of the Safe Network: Medica from Zenica and Vive Women from Tuzla. 

The trainings were attended by twenty representatives of the new members of the Safe Network.
